Temple Company Negotiates Contract for Student Housing Facility
MW Builders of Texas, Inc. has been awarded a new student housing project in a negotiated contract of $16.7 million.

Place Properties recently awarded MW Builders of Texas, Inc. a contract for a new student housing facility in San Antonio, TX. The contract for La Cantera Place Student Housing will house the students of the University of Texas at San Antonio.
The project consists of eleven apartment buildings with wood stud framing and wood floor and roof trusses. The project
contains 204 student housing units, comprised of 624 bedrooms. These buildings will be 3-story, with hardi-plank siding
facades, located in San Antonio, Texas near the University of Texas at San Antonio. The project will also include a
clubhouse, surface vehicle parking, covered parking, mailbox kiosk and pool. The project totals approximately 271,700
square feet.
MW Builders has successfully completed two student housing projects for Place Properties, including Aberdeen Place Student
Housing in Huntsville, Texas for the students of Sam Houston State University and Angelo Place Student Housing in San
Angelo, Texas, for the students of Angelo State University. MW Builders is in the completion stages of two other projects
for Place Properties as well; Hill Country Place Student Housing on UTSA Blvd. in San Antonio, and Coleman Place Student
Housing in Little Rock, AR, for the students of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, both of which are set to open
for the fall semester 2008. MW Builders is pleased to continue our partnership with Place Properties as well as
Architecture Demarest, and is excited to get this new project underway.
