MW Builders of Texas Awarded $23 Million Project at Fort Riley, Kansas
The Kansas City District of the US Army Corps of Engineers has awarded MW Builders of Texas, Inc., based in Temple, a contract in the amount of $22,917,000 to construct the Battle Command Training Center located at Fort Riley, Kansas. The project consists of an 80,000 square foot building which will consolidate the Army’s mission training, planning and rehearsal into a multi-functional state of the art facility. The project also includes tactical equipment paving, a new concrete tank trail, a controlled access point and associated infrastructure construction.

The company is currently under contract with the Corps of Engineers to perform the design and construction of the FY06 SUA Custer Hill Barracks also at Fort Riley.”
Tim Chadwick, President of MW Builders of Texas, Inc. stated, “This project is an exciting addition to our on-going contracts for the Corps of Engineers at Fort Riley. The Battle Command Training Center will provide the soldiers stationed at Fort Riley with a state of the art training facility once construction is complete.”
MW Builders expects to start construction on the project within the next two weeks with an expected construction duration of 630 calendar days.”
