TEMPLE COMPANY NEGOTIATES CONTRACTS FOR TWO STUDENT HOUSING
FACILITIES
MW Builders of Texas, Inc. awarded two student housing projects in
negotiated contracts totaling $24 million.

Place Properties has awarded MW Builders of Texas, Inc. contracts
for two student housing facilities. These negotiated contracts are
for the Aberdeen Place Apartments, to house students of Sam Houston
State University and Angelo Place Apartments for Angelo State
University. The two projects combined total is $24 million.
The Aberdeen Place Apartments project consists of twelve buildings
with wood stud framing, wood open web floor and roof trusses that
contain 132 student housing units comprising 528 bedrooms. The
apartment buildings will be 3-story, with Hardi-plank siding facades
located in Huntsville, Texas close to Sam Houston University. The
project includes a clubhouse, one-story multi-use building, surface
vehicle parking, covered parking, mailbox kiosk, pool, volleyball
court and a basketball court will also be included within the scope
of this project.
The Angelo Place Apartment project consists of eleven apartment
buildings and one clubhouse building, consisting of wood stud
framing, wood open web floor and roof trusses that contain 120
student housing units comprising 480 bedrooms. The apartment
buildings will be 3-story with Hardi-plank siding facades located in
San Angelo, Texas close to Angelo State University. The project will
also include surface vehicle parking, covered parking, mailbox
kiosk, pool, volleyball court and a basketball court.
